About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a supportive and enriching environment where adults can enjoy purposeful activities, social engagement, and compassionate care.

We understand that memory impairment affects more than just the people who have it; it affects families as well – spouses, adult children, grandchildren and siblings. It is our mission to be a resource for the families we serve. We offer education and other resources.

Meet Our Team

Mary Felix - Owner/Administrator

My passion for senior care began when I was about 8 years old, sneaking off to the Senior Center to play games with the ladies from the Red Hat Society. By my late teens, I was doing in-home care in El Dorado Hills, caring for a doctor and his wife. In my early 20s, I transitioned to working in assisted living facilities, gaining experience in every department until I became an administrator. With 8 years of experience as an administrator, I remain dedicated to enhancing the lives of the elderly through compassionate and comprehensive care.

Destiny Torres - Office Manager

Inspired by watching my mother excel in caregiving, I began my journey in senior care at 18. Starting as a caregiver, my desire to make a meaningful impact led me to advance to a medication technician and eventually a coordinator. Working with seniors has always felt natural to me, and I am committed to providing compassionate care and support. My role at REM Senior Day Program allows me to help seniors thrive, and I am dedicated to enhancing their quality of life every day.

Martha Langoria - Associate

With over 12 years of experience in senior care, I find fulfillment in building trust and meaningful connections with my clients. I strive to understand each individual's needs and encourage active participation through engaging activities. My dedication lies in creating a warm, inclusive environment where every client feels valued and connected within the community. At REM Senior Day Program, I am committed to fostering a supportive space where seniors can thrive and feel truly cared for.
